Wroxham will aim to end their recent slump as they embark on a second home match in a row, writes Adrian Gowling.

The visitors to Trafford Park are AFC Sudbury – managed by former Kirkley & Pakefield manager Jamie Godbold – who currently sit third in Ryman League North.

The Yachtsmen, 18th in the 24-team table, meanwhile are on a disappointing sequence having gained only one point out of a possible 18.

Their latest defeat was at the hands of Great Wakering Rovers who left Trafford Park with the points after a 4-2 victory. The Yachtsmen showed some fight in that game bringing the scores level having been 2-0 down at half-time.

Spectacular strikes from Jamie Forshaw and Seamus Kelleher gave the home side some hope that their run of poor form was going to come to an end but two further goals put paid to their ambitions.

The woes of Wroxham were further compounded by the sending off of skipper Andy Howell late on. Howell will be available for selection this afternoon as his suspension will begin for the away game at Cheshunt in seven days' time.

Missing again will be Jackson Ramm who is still suspended but Michael Sommerfield should be back in the squad after he was an unused substitute last time out.

Forshaw and Jack Guyton both face their former side and will be hoping that they can influence the outcome and gain a victory for Stewart Larter's side.

Wroxham were denied the chance to gain a morale-boosting triumph in midweek when their home Norfolk Senior Cup clash against lower-level Great Yarmouth Town fell foul of the wet weather. The game has been rearranged for Tuesday night.
