A high school that has improved its attainment and progress results celebrated World Teachers’ Day on October 5.
North Walsham High School, part of the Enrich Learning Trust, has thanked its staff.
The day was initiated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 1994 to recognise the contributions of teachers worldwide.
This year's theme was "The Teachers We Need for the Education We Want: The global imperative to reverse the teacher shortage".

Teachers at the school are supported in their professional development and improvements by Steplab, which provides personalised support focusing on specific aspects of teaching.
Mr James Gosden, headteacher at North Walsham High School, said: “I want to take this chance to say a massive thank you to all of our teachers, however at North Walsham High School we try to celebrate our staff everyday as we know how hard they work and what a real difference this makes to the life chances of children.
"Supporting teachers is key if we want to keep them in the classroom and in love with teaching as a profession.”
