A flood alert has been issued for the Norfolk Broads after fears tidal waters could cause issues to the river system.
This morning the Environment Agency issued the alert for areas near the Rivers Bure, Ant and Thurne - covering much of the Broads.
The warning was triggered as water levels are expected to continue to gradually rise over the next few hours due to the natural tidal locking effect.

The effect causes river levels to rise as incoming waters from the sea restrict the natural flow out of the Broads.
The worst hit areas are predicted to be around Potter Heigham, Wroxham boat yards and Ferry Road in Horning.

In recent weeks high spring tides caused by the moon raised tidal levels and although they are starting to fall, river levels are still continuing to rise.
A spokesman for the Environment Agency said: "Take care on waterside roads and footpaths and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger.
"We are monitoring the situation and not expecting it to escalate."
