A village pub has closed its doors after its landlords decided to retire following more than two decades at the helm.
The Black Lion in Lion Road, Buxton, has poured its last pint under its current landlords who have been serving locals for around 25 years.

Officially closing on September 29, the village has now been left without a local watering hole.
Locals fancying a tipple will now have to travel to nearby Heavingham or Coltishall for a pint.
The future of the pub and who may take it over has not yet been confirmed.
