Christmas has been saved in Holt.
A committee made up of people and business owners in the town has come together to save Holt’s Christmas event.
The new committee called Festive Holt has taken up the challenge after previous organisers Love Holt stepped back from the switch-on event.

The new committee has announced that the celebrations will have a “calmer more community” based feel this year.
Events will take place from November 15-17. It will not have a switch-on.
The Friday sees the main event, with local shops and market stalls opening up to sell refreshments.
There will also be live music and mulled wine.
The weekend will continue with a family day on Saturday and a yards day on Sunday with Holt Yard's unique shopping spaces putting on their own entertainment.
