Two Norfolk chess clubs have engaged in a friendly pre-season match to prepare for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
North Walsham Chess Club (NWCC), a recent addition to the chess community, visited Aylsham Chess Club, which was established in 2018.
The event aimed to give players an authentic match experience.
Both the hosting Aylsham team and NWCC will include new names in the Norfolk County Chess Association (NCCA) league and cup contests.
