A trio of local cyclists are setting out on a 435 mile lap of East Anglia to raise money for East Anglian Air Ambulance.
The three will start and finish at the Air Ambulance HQ at Norwich airport on a route that will see them ride through Ipswich, Luton and King’s Lynn.
Malcom Fisher, Anthony Marett and James Howells are members of the Sheringham and Cromer 41 Club, a group for ‘retired’ Round Table members.

Mr Fisher and Mr Marett, both from Roughton, previously rode 311 miles from London to Paris in aid of the Holt Youth Project. The pair completed their first ride alongside teammate Darren Thomas, who is unable to make the East Anglian expedition.
Mr Howells from East Tuddenham has stepped in to replace Mr Thomas.
Mr Fisher said: “We originally signed up for the Lap of Anglia last year but two of us had to pull out through family illness – but we’re now in full training with 50-60 mile team rides every Friday, which always includes a nice breakfast."
The Lap of Anglia has raised more than £233,000 for the East Anglia Air Ambulance since it started in 2013.
The money goes towards providing the life-saving work of air and car-borne paramedics.
