A Norfolk village primary school has organised a Festival of Bees by mixing music, art, and beekeeping.
Aldborough Primary School hosted the festival on July 11, transforming the school into an artistic hive.
Teachers Ms Cuthill and Ms Meyrick arranged the event.
Pupils all over the school turned artists for the day creating their own bee-themed artwork.
These colourful pieces of imagination, mounted on honeycomb hexagons, spiced up the school.
The day featured several festivities, starting with pupil-performed musical pieces that had resounded across the school hall instead of the outdoor stage due to rain.
They also offered a few science-based experiences, including a science bag for every attendee.
A beekeeper also graced the occasion with their hive, giving children and adults the chance to tap into their curiosity while tasting Norfolk honey.
Ms Meyrick said: "It was a terrific day with a fabulous turnout, despite the weather.
"It’s wonderful to be able to put on this type of activity, mixing learning with fun.
"I reckon it’s the bee’s knees."

Kerianne Bullimore, parent of three Aldborough pupils, said: “It was a lovely event, based on such a brilliant idea,
“It was a shame about the weather, but everyone came out anyway and we all had a great time.”
The Festival of Bees raised funds for the Friends of Aldborough School to support educational trips.
The day ended on a sweet note, with the ever-active Friends serving teas, coffees, and strawberries and cream.
