A Norfolk charity celebrated 200 years of service with a series of successful events.
St John Ambulance held events in North Walsham and Norwich, marking two centuries of dedicated service by the charity in the region.
The celebration included first aid demonstrations, historical exhibits and a showcase of past and present ambulance vehicles.
The North Walsham Cadets completed a 100-minute CPR-a-thon, while VIPs including the Sheriff of Norwich, Dr Jan Sheldon, and the Lord Mayor of Norwich, James Wright, received CPR training on Riverside.
In North Walsham, MP Duncan Baker was among those to meet the local team.
Alice Gray, district manager for St John Ambulance, said: “It was wonderful to see so many people at our two celebration events and we’re very grateful to everyone for stopping to learn some first aid, find out about our history over the last century and donate some funds to help us equip and train local volunteers as we continue with our first aid mission in the county."
The events raised more than £244 in total.
