A neglected bike track is soon to be transformed into a hotspot for local youngsters.
A wooded area of Stimpson's Piece, Reepham, was approved for the local youth to build their own jumps by hand, without concern for being told off.
However, the area is overgrown and rutted making it difficult to cycle in.
Assistance of local builders and groundworks companies is being explored to create a proposal to kickstart the bike track area.
The project aims to make it accessible and enjoyable for children of all ages and abilities this summer.
Time and equipment, such as mini diggers, dumper trucks and compactors, are needed to kickstart the refurbishment.
Project leader, Michael Price, said: "We're hoping for support by the Stimpson's Piece Trust to build a bike track that the young people of Reepham can continue to develop.
"And we’re hoping this can be accelerated by bringing in machinery."
The Stimpson’s Piece Trust had given a thumb’s up for young people to create their own jumps and are open to the idea of wider transformation. A proposal is now being created for this project to develop the area into a fun and safe riding spot for balance bikes to mountain bikes. This is subject to approval.
In a recent Facebook post, Resilient Pathways Ltd reminded users to avoid the car park area, roads, grass and footpaths.
Bikers were also urged to consider each other, spread the word and have fun.
