A driving coach from a 1950s railcar restored to its former glory has been highly commended at the national Heritage Railway Association Awards.
The 1958 M56182 railcar has undergone a near decade-long restoration by father and son team Paul and Chris Moxon, from Beeston Regis.
The North Norfolk Railway railcar, which took nine-and-a-half years to restore, was highly commended in the 'diesel and electric locomotive' category of the awards.
M56182 had already scooped silver in the Railcar Association’s annual awards in January.

Passengers will have a chance to ride in the award-winning class 104 driving coach during February half-term as the railcar is one of two historic trains scheduled to be in action at the North Norfolk Railway every day from February 17 to 25.
The second train will be formed of steam-era carriages hauled by visiting Great Western Railway steam locomotive No 4277 'Hercules'.
The powerful 104 year-old engine once worked heavy coal trains in South Wales and is visiting from the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway.
