A farm that opened its sunflower field for the bank holiday believes it has blossomed into a new annual tradition.
The Duncan family farm in Field Dalling, near Holt opened across the August bank holiday weekend for people to enjoy a stunning field full of sunflowers thanks to Isobel Duncan.
Across the four days, the farm said it was inundated with people coming along to pick their own flowers, or to just enjoy the site.
Miss Duncan said: “Many people said to me that they felt they had stepped into Europe with one lady saying, ‘It’s like watching a moving painting’.
“Many more people said that the field was such a peaceful and calm space, a really welcome change from the fast-paced modern world.
"We have started a family tradition and hope to be back to share this happy flower with you all again next year for a longer period next time.”
Miss Duncan is already planning next year’s event to be bigger and better next year.
