A charming cottage in the north Norfolk countryside has beat its guide price at auction.
Called Flint Cottage, the property in Alby sold at the Auction House East Anglia sale for £369,000.
The two-bedroom cottage had been listed with a guide price of £275,000-£325,000.
It went under the hammer on June 14, around six months after and for over £100,000 less than when it first appeared on the open market.
The property came up for sale on the open market late last year, priced at a guide of £425,000.

The cottage has been largely untouched since it was built over 150 years ago, but was sold with planning permission to demolish and create a new, two-storey home.
The surrounding plot extends to half an acre and has a tributary of the River Bure to its northern and western boundaries.
The previous owners invested in a completely new treatment plant system and cleared much of the site ready for landscaping.
