A young woman who is attempting to circumnavigate the Great British coastline has been given a warm reception in Norfolk.
Alice Connelly is running, hiking, and walking the entire coastline of Britain was offered overnight accommodation by Keith and Nicky Phillips from West Runton on January 27.
Ms Connelly, 23, is raising money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of her father, who died suddenly from a heart condition, and the mental health charity Mind.
Mrs Phillips heard through social media and local wild swimming friends that Ms Connelly would be in the area and looking for accommodation.
She said: "My husband and I were honoured to meet this inspiring young lady, hearing her story and all about her adventures as she navigates the British coastline. It was a privilege.”
Ms Connelly started her journey from her on the Fife peninsula in Scotland.
