WITH the Slater and Frith Division One leaders Gimingham idle because of a waterlogged pitch at East Ruston, Coltishall moved closer to the top of the table thanks to a brace from Robert Neave and a strike from Ross Joy when visiting Corpusty who netted once. Runton won by the odd goal of three at Horning whilst Hickling and Briston shared the spoils and six goals. Ludham’s sharp shooters were amongst the goals at North Walsham Old Boys netting eight without reply. Leading the way was Andrew Clarke with four, a hat-trick from Daniel Bullock and one from Michael McCormick.

Wayford Nurseries Division Two leaders Worstead were involved in a high scoring encounter with Lyng, netting six themselves, their visitors scoring four, with a George Abbott hat-trick. Mundesley and Buxton Res shared points and six goals, Cromer Youth Old Boys were 9-0 winners at home to Felmingham.

Blakeney are the new leaders of the Knights Trophies Division Three, this despite dropping their first points of the season when at home to Gimingham Res. In a game which ended all square at three apiece, goals for the visitors from Charlie Skipper two and one from Ryan Beeson, Blakeney goals coming from Carl Salmon, Kevin Gambrill and Aaron Hill. Cawston surrendered top spot when they suffered their first reverse to date when Aldborough Lion Res, thanks to goals from Philip Gravling and Ben Nicholls inflicted a 2-1 defeat. Glaven Valley notched up a 3-0 home win over Mundesley Res, while Sutton Rangers were odd goal winners of seven over Holt Colt.
