COLIN RICHARD POSTLE 9th December 1937 - 16th February 2015 Beloved brother to Lavinia, Vivien, Peter and Christopher, Uncle to Alison, Penny, Michael, Jane and Rebecca and Great-Uncle to lots more! Colins father was Horace Richard Postle, stationmaster at Sudbury from 1952 to 1967 (and then resident of Humphrey Road, Sudbury until 1988). Colin followed his Dad onto the railway, winning a traffic apprenticeship ( the British Railways Management training scheme) and rising through the ranks to become a Railway Officer. On the way up, he was the (youngest) Stationmaster at Kings Cross and Regional Operations Manager for the Great Western. Colin and his deceased wife Penny (who he met whilst he was Stationmaster at Stowmarket) retired to his home county of Norfolk. The funeral will be held at All Saints Church Lower Bodham, near Holt, at 2.30p.m. on Friday, March 6th. Donations, if wished, to the Friends of Kelling Hospital either at the service or via the funeral directors Foxs Funeral Service, 10 Canada Road, Cromer, NR27 9AH.
